ABOUT ME
I’m an Occupational Therapist committed to helping children, adolescents, adults and families build meaningful connections and skills to manage life’s challenges. I have been in LOVE with Occupational Therapy since the fifth grade when I had the opportunity to witness how OT can transform lives. I have 30+ years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals of all ages and I'm a certified autism spectrum disorder clinical specialist. I graduated from the University of Southern California and have worked with clients of all ages in schools, hospitals, clinics, groups homes, home health and community-based settings. My focus areas are on developing skills of self-regulation, stress management, self-care, life skills, effective social skills, conflict resolution, problem solving, sensory processing, motor coordination, executive functioning and pain management. I believe in taking a client and family centered, strength-based, collaborative approach to helping clients and families reach their goals, develop meaningful connections, and improve their quality of life. I have developed and facilitated group programming in different settings, for multiple skill levels and ages. I enjoy fostering opportunities for social connections and practice in a safe and supportive environment with individuals working on similar skills. I’m passionate about the skill development, sensory awareness and enhanced wellbeing benefits we get when we connect with nature. Providing occupational therapy groups in nature has been a natural transition for me...come join me and let me help you Prosper in the Great Outdoors!
